Hi Eddie! I was one of your banjo students from Sly Park Jazz Camp last year. (Yes, I've been practicing.) I had valve repair surgery five years ago and I came out of it wanting to play jazz. You'll be fine - good luck!

Back in 1993 at Wyndham Springs Hotel you gave me a CD with 16 tracks, you and Big Mama Sue. I was the VERY amateur banjo player with the Riverboat Jazz Band from South Africa. I listen to the album from time to time, and it provides great memories for me.Thank you for the CD, for your amazing banjo playing, and your graciousness whenever I had the chance to speak with you. Warmest good wishes to you and Sue. Vernon

Mr. Erickson, saw you several times in various sets in Monterey at the JBBTB this past weekend. The highlight, and there were many, was when you performed with the Kilgore Trio. You sang "Make Someone Happy" and absolutely knocked it out of the park. Wow. Hopefully you'll consider recording that one. Hate to see that rendition not presented to the masses. Thanks for a great extended weekend of great music.

Hi Eddie, We lost Harold this morning, but wanted to especially thank you for signing the BIG card in San Diego. He loved it and it gave Jeanne and Harold a chance to relive many of the wonderful music moments and memories. Much love to you from the "extended family". Pam

Hi Eddie, I just read Chuck Berg's review from back in April. Doesn't he know that you, Dan, Rebecca and Joel are the best at what you do in the entire country? Please keep up the good work, and hopefully come back to Portland!
